| Just as our ferry was pulling away from the dock, another workboat was pulling in. It had a ramp at the bow so it could transport vehicles. Click on the right-hand picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here. | ||

| This is the cargo ship Slotergracht, which among other things can transport recreational boats as deck cargo (you can see numerous boats on deck). When they arrive with your sailboat, you board the ship and climb aboard your boat. Then the ship's crane lowers your boat over the side and you sail away.
