Visiting Road Town: Around Town (continued)

This interesting and photogenic building is on Main Street, but it was always closed when I walked by. I liked the way it looked, so nearly every time I walked by, I took a picture. Click on either picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.

A private home with a beautifully-landscaped yard. It is located south of town at the corner of Waterfront Drive and MacNamara Road, which is very close to Hotel Castle Maria (where I stayed). Click on either picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.

This attractive house is on MacNamara Road, just downhill from my hotel. Guess what their favorite color is?   A travelers palm (Ravenala madagascariensis), which is not a true palm but is related to the banana. It is in the yard of a home along Waterfront Drive near MacNamara Road.
