Sailing to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean 1500

Visiting Road Town: Waterfront (continued)

After I moved into Hotel Castle Maria, I occasionally walked over to the Pub for lunch or dinner; prices and service were reasonable. The restaurant tables were on the back deck that overlooked the harbor, providing entertaining views of all the activity.

The Pub, a bar/restaurant located on Waterfront Drive south of MacNamara Road, near the Fort Burt Hotel and Marina.

Sailboats visible from the restaurant; it's a gloomy background since a rain shower is approaching. Click on the picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.   These boats are docked behind the restaurant; in the background you can see it's raining.

The pilot boat is docked right behind the restaurant; it brings pilots to and from ships entering and leaving the harbor.

The cruise ship dock as seen from the restaurant. The white ship is Crystal Symphony, operated by Crystal Cruises. Behind it is a Holland America Line ship; I can't see the name. In front of the ships you can see a ferry from Speedy's heading towards the ferry terminal.
