Sailing to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean 1500

Visiting Road Town: Botanic Garden (continued)

Schoolchildren painted a mural of the garden on the side of the restroom building.

Caesalpinia pulcherrima, also known as Pride of Barbados.   The bromeliad Billbergia pyramidalis.

One of the pathways in the garden. The palm-like plant might be a type of cycad.   There were a few brain corals scattered under some of the shrubs along the pathway. The brain corals were about the size of a human brain and were a little creepy looking.

Two palm trees along the path. Click on either picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.
