We spent a couple of weeks at the marina preparing for our voyage. In this section, I'll tell you about the boatwork and marina life and show you some pictures of the good ship Nine of Cups. I'll show you what this part of Ecuador looks like (with some background information about Ecuador), and tell you about a visit to a unique and interesting gallery and museum.

| This section of the coast of Ecuador is called the Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun, or Sun Trail), which is a resort area where people from Ecuador go to visit the seacoast. There are many beaches, hotels, and condos and the weather is usually hot and sunny. There are other attractions along the coast that you can visit by using the local buses which are very inexpensive. |
