Volcano Rano Kau and Orongo Village (continued)

The story continues after three pages of pictures.

Looking down the inner slope of the crater, as seen from the rim.   I saw this pretty wildflower on the crater rim. This flower is visible as a tiny spot of pink at the bottom of the previous picture. I believe this is a variety of Ice Plant, Lampranthus sp.

This is a side view of a restored wall showing numerous lens-shaped slabs of rock.   Branches of a gnarled tree on top of the volcano.
