Visiting Easter Island (Land-Based)

Walking Back From Orongo (continued)

The story continues after three pages of pictures.

An island landscape from a lower elevation.   A free-range horse.

There are very few trees on Easter Island, and on my walk down from Orongo I came across this grove of trees. They are about the nicest and most natural looking trees I have seen, though they are not native species.   Roadside plants.

I believe this is Yellow Wood Sorrel, Oxalis stricta.
