Las Grietas (continued)

A brown pelican roosts in another mangrove tree.   This brown pelican was stalking minnows that were passing through the shallows.

In the first picture, the pelican is peering into the murky water. The second picture is just after he lunged and caught some minnows. You can just make out half a minnow sticking out of the side of his bill.

A smallish duck that was wading through a shallow lagoon and feeding. It might be a white-cheeked pintail.
