Visiting Isla Isabela in the Galápagos Archipelago

Reef Shark Trail (continued)

The story continues after this page of pictures from the reef shark trail.

This islet fronts directly on the ocean so receives the full force of the waves.

In the distance you can see Isla Tortuga.

Powerful ocean waves rearing up as they reach the shallows.

Marcie and David, enjoying the scenery.

Our dinghy, moored at the dry landing for the reef shark trail. Although you can't see it, the stern anchor holds the dinghy away from shore so the dinghy doesn't chafe on the rough rocks.
