A Glorious Sunrise (continued)

 
These two pictures were taken about half a minute apart.

 
The colorful part of sunrise is just about over.   The once colorful scene is now rendered in shades of gray.

 
A pelican gliding just above the surface of the water. There were quite a few birds flying here and there during sunrise—heading to their favorite spots for breakfast, I suppose.   A sailboat in the outer anchorage, rendered in shades of gray. I have two colorful pictures of this boat on the next page, where it is rendered in shades of pink.
