The Ship John Shoal Lighthouse, which is actually in New Jersey. The lighthouse dates from 1877. For more information, see the internet link, below.  


 
Jerome at the helm.   Elbow of Cross Ledge Lighthouse. The steel tower was installed in the early 1950s to replace a more substantial lighthouse that was knocked into the bay after being hit by a ship during foggy weather.
