Sailing To New York City

An Unexpected Detour To Atlantic City (continued)

The story continues after this page of pictures, all taken the evening of our arrival in Atlantic City.

Another view of Atlantic City from the anchorage. That's a different boat than the last picture.

Views of a few of the casinos, including Showboat and Taj Mahal.

This is looking at the opposite side of the inlet where there was a cove with marshes and a sandy beach. During the day, numerous people congregated on the beach, some parking their vehicles nearby on the sand.

Pilgrim in the foreground, with the highway bridge in the background.

Looking directly shoreward, you can see a big parking garage with the Trump Marina hotel/casino behind it, and the Borgata casino shining in the background.
