Visiting Road Town: Around Town

Two views of Palm Grove Park, in front of Palm Grove House, a commercial office building near the marina . This is also the location of Cable & Wireless, the local phone company, where you can get phone cards to make calls to the U.S. Look for the building with a cell-phone tower on the roof. Scotiabank, next to the palm-lined street that serves the marina, and across the street from the previous plaza. Scotiabank is actually the Bank of Nova Scotia, but it has branches all over the world. Click on the picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.

Buildings in the commercial district along Fleming Street, which is in the heart of downtown Road Town.   A small apartment building near downtown.

Local folks hanging out where a pedestrian walkway comes out on Waterfront Drive. Click on the picture to see a bigger version; use your browser's "back" command to return here.   A big tree along either upper Main Street or Pickering Road, I don't remember.
