Second Shakedown Cruise

Preparing For The Second Shakedown Cruise

The catamaran Esmeralda, anchored near Pilgrim in Spa Creek. I took this pictures from Amos Garrett Park, a small public park on Spa Creek opposite Truxtun Park. Amos Garrett Park is accessible from Amos Garrett Boulevard, near where it intersects Spa View Avenue.   An attractive house next to Amos Garrett Park; the back yard overlooks Spa Creek. I spoke to Jerome over the weekend, and he made out fine at the Spa Creek anchorage. There was a thunderstorm on Saturday but it wasn't windy, so there weren't any problems with the tight anchoring space.

The plan for today is to meet Jerome with my car and drive around to get supplies and provisions. Then I'll drop him off at the boat and he'll motor over to Back Creek to pick me up at my marina. Then we'll motor out to the Severn and resume our shakedown cruise.
