This page lists recent additions and changes to my web site:

• 09-Aug-2009 - Fixed more than 350 broken internet links on my site, out of perhaps a couple thousand links throughout my site.
• 04-Feb-2009 - Made some minor changes to a few pages (Résumé, Photography, To Contact Me...).
• 04-Jul-2008 - Added three more pages of airplane pictures to my Patuxent River Naval Air Museum page (the link is to the new pages).
• 19-Jun-2008 - Added an article How To Make A Trail Map Using Google Earth to my Maps page, which I just created to hold a link to the article.
• 02-Jun-2008 - Added a major feature called the Quiet Waters Park Virtual Explorer to my Living In Annapolis, Maryland page, which uses Google Earth to display an extensive set of map annotations for Quiet Waters Park, an Anne Arundel County Park located in Annapolis, Maryland.
• 17-May-2008 - Added a major new section Sailing To The British Virgin Islands In The Caribbean 1500 to my Sailboat Cruising page. The section describes my voyage aboard the sailboat Night Heron in November 2007. It consists of 125 pages, 735 jpg images, plus a few dozen other files, for a total of more than 1,000 files.
• 20-Dec-2007 - Updated my Sailing Résumé to include my recent sailing trip to Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
• 05-Sep-2007 - Added a second email address in the To Contact Me... section of my web site. Sometimes the first email address bounces back.
• 01-Sep-2007 - Added a major new section Sailing From Annapolis To New York City to my Sailboat Cruising page. It describes the several weeks of crewing that I did for Jerome Zukosky aboard his sailboat Pilgrim, including sailing to New York. The section contains 135 html files, 373 jpg files, and 26 gif files.
• 03-Aug-2007 - Added my Sailing Résumé to my Sailboat Cruising page.
• 19-Dec-2006 - Added a page of Monitor Test Images to my Photography page.
• 02-Nov-2006 - Fixed a whole bunch of broken links, added a PayPal donation button to several pages, made a few other minor changes.
• 13-Oct-2006 - Added 37 pages of airplane pictures from the Joint Service Open House to my Airplane page.
• 04-Oct-2006 - Added a few pages of pictures to my Living In Annapolis, Maryland page about the Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden.
• 13-Jul-2006 - Added a few pages of pictures to my Living In Annapolis, Maryland page about a Disc Dog Contest that took place in Annapolis on June 24, 2006.
• 30-Jun-2006 - Added a whole bunch of stuff to a new page, John's Airplane Page, including pages with screen shots from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.
• 19-Jun-2006 - Added a few pictures to my Living At My House In Frederick page.
• 19-Jun-2006 - Added several pages of pictures to my Living In Annapolis, Maryland page about the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center Open House that took place on Saturday, May 13, 2006.
• 17-May-2006 - Added several pages of pictures of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Walk that took place on Sunday, May 7, 2006. I also created a so-far nearly empty page Living In Annapolis, Maryland so I had someplace to link the Bridge Walk page.
• 13-May-2006 - Added several pages of pictures of the Solomons Christmas Walk that occurred in 2004 and 2005.
• 25-Apr-2006 - Added a page of Solomons Fire Pictures showing the big fire that burned the Lighthouse Inn and a portion of Bowen's Inn on March 15, 2006. I also created a so-far nearly empty page Living In Solomons, Maryland so I had someplace to link the Fire page.
• 09-Feb-2006 - I finally completed all sections of the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. I started this section more than a year ago thinking it would be about 700 files, but it wound up being more than 2,000 files (438 html files, 1,593 jpg files, 22 gif files, 2 pdf files, in 10 subdirectories). I also added a link to the "My Favorite Pictures" section to to my Photography page.
• 17-Oct-2005 - Added another section to the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. This section is titled The Voyage to Nowhere.
• 30-Sep-2005 - Added nine pages and nearly three dozen pictures to my Personal Information Page about participating in a Washington Anti-War March.
• 23-Sep-2005 - Added another section to the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. This section is titled Visiting Easter Island (Boat-Based).
• 23-Jul-2005 - Added another section to the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. This section is titled Sailing to Easter Island.
• 30-Jun-2005 - Added more pages to the Visiting the Galapágos Archipelago section of my web site. These pages are about sailing to and visiting Isla Floreana.
• 24-Jun-2005 - Added more pages to the Visiting the Galapágos Archipelago section of my web site. These pages are about visiting Isla Isabela.
• 05-May-2005 - Added more pages to the Visiting the Galapágos Archipelago section of my web site. These pages are about sailing from Isla Santa Cruz to Isla Isabela.
• 23-Apr-2005 - Added another section to the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. This section is titled Visiting the Galapágos Archipelago. So far, this section only covers Isla Santa Cruz; I'm still working on the rest.
• 31-Jan-2005 - Added some pages to the Hobbies and Interests section about Computers.
• 28-Jan-2005 - Added another section to the Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island portion of my web site. This section is titled Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago.
• 16-Jan-2005 - Started adding pages about Sailing to the Galapágos Archipelago and Easter Island to my Sailboat Cruising page. This is a huge undertaking (probably 700+ files, eventually), so I'm posting the information bit by bit. As a result, some of the pages may be incomplete and some links might not work. Please bear with me.
• 20-Dec-2004 - Added an article with some pictures to my cruising page, called Let There Be Light, subtitled "A Quest For Reliable Electrical Connectors".
• 14-Sep-2004 - Added nine pages and 31 pictures to my Personal Information Page about participating in a recent New York City Protest March.
• 10-Aug-2004 - Added a page to my paddling page called Practical Paddling Details, which is actually a page from long ago that I never finished. Well, now it's finished.
• 08-Aug-2004 - Added an article with some pictures to my cruising page, called Sailing Off Into the Sunset, subtitled "The Ups and Downs of Becoming a Liveaboard Cruiser".
• 12-Feb-2004 - Added two pages of pictures to my photography page about Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon in the desert southwest.
• 26-Jan-2004 - Added a major new section to my paddling page with lots of pictures, text, and web links for the Green River Kayak Camping Trip I did in March, 1999.
• 13-Jan-2004 - Added the "What's New" page.
• 14-Nov-2003 - Added information about my digital camera, plus a few pictures and web links, to my Photography page.
• 14-Nov-2003 - Added a few cruising pictures to my Intracoastal Waterway Anchorages and Marinas page.
• 12-Nov-2003 - Added a few pictures to my truck driving journal on my Truck Driving page.
• 07-Nov-2003 - Added a major new section to my photography page called Behind The Redwood Curtain, with lots of pictures (and some text and web links) about a trip to Northern California.
• 05-Nov-2003 - Added a picture of my sailboat to my Sailboat page.
• 31-Oct-2003 - Major addition to my Paddling page, with information about my Klepper kayak, trip notes, gear lists, pictures, and web links.
• 30-Oct-2003 - Updated my Résumé page to add information about my truck driving job.
• ??-Mar-2002 - Started creating pages for my web site.
